Disappointed

Ok, well the time has come for me too finally reveal my results and I do not know what to say but I am very disappointed with my efforts and results. As a trainer you are expected to be a role model and represent the industry you work in but at the moment I am still not where I think I should be. Maybe I am being just a little too hard on myself and need too give it at least a year. I realise that this time around it is so much harder,  I still have huge abdominal separation, and even though I have no stretch marks at all my belly is not as firm as it was  the first time around. 

I find myself as a trainer, training others but not training myself, not making the full commitment I need to get back into shape. The aim of my blog was to let my members know that yes I am human and yes I understand how hard this can be.  Priorites change in your life and it is no longer about you, everyone and everything else comes first and you last.

So where to now, well I just need to keep on doing what I am doing and as time passes and my beautiful children grow a little older, I will find a little more time for myself and get back to the old me.

I hope I have not let you ladies down by not managing to be the super women I sometimes think I need to be. One thing I do know is that many of you understand what it is like  and when the time is right I will REKREATE my fitness and REKREATE my lifestyle.

Here I come

Getting close to my final photo and finish of my blog. It has been about 22 weeks since I had my little girl Zahli, the first six weeks I did not exercise due to a caesar and at least 4 to 6  weeks I was so fatigued trying to find that balance.

Anyhow this week i have done a few sessions of weights (which I personally love) and find it the best way to get back in shape, plus a combination of cardio and zumba sessions.  My eating is still on track and I make sure I still enjoy dining out with the family, and do not put too much pressure on myself.

All going well

Hello again,

Just a quick update with how things are going.  I am focused for the final reveal training has consisted of weights running and Zumba. My eating is on track and I am finally starting to feel like myself again. Still have a belly and this will take some time to shrink due to the fact that I am 5ft tall and also that it takes time for your abdominals to close over after having a baby, but thats ok... thats life.

How are you all going? Have you set a goal are your reaching your goal?

I did it....

Well my foot is a little tender my arm hurts more but that did not stop me. I decided to run about 16km on Sat and did it so watch out 21km here I come. So proud of my efforts. Also focusing on my weight training and off course zumba (addicted).


What have you been up too? Look forward to hearing from you all out there.

A little set back

mmmm not good fell of the ladder with my 2 year old boy injured my foot and arm, so just a small set back this week witn training. I can always cycle and do weights, so I am not too distraught.

Heading off to the Gold coast with some of the Rekreate Members for the the Gold Coast Marathon, some of the ladies are doing the 21km others are participating in the 10km and 5km. I really want to do the half so I am going to wait until my foot heals and see what I can do. Only about 7 weeks to go.

Don't you just love soups for winter, cant beat az good chicken vegetable or ministrone. Loads of goodness and easy on the kj.

Just wanted to let you know all is good on the home front. Have scheduled in a few sessions weights Zumba and boxing this week. Eating well and feeling better.

 How about you?? Winter is coming so make sure you do not fall off the wagon. Keep on keeping on I say and take one day at a time.

The final countdown

 Well well well, I have finally commenced some real training. So what have I been doing you ask??? Kickboxing, zumba and about a 6km run 3 sessions for the week.  I feel good need to step it up though next week.

As for my eating it has been good also focusing more on my MJ. So eating clean drinking lots of water.

Days roll into weeks

Yes I am back to update my blog...and as the title says days roll into weeks and weeks roll into months and still no real major progress from my side, I now have about 7 to 8 weeks to go before the 26 weeks are up. I am not upset with how things are panning out and how it has taken me along time to really try and find a balance with recovering from the caesar,3 kids and work. When you have to choose between sleep and exercise there has been really no argument from me- sleep has been more importan.

I think now it is time too step it up and take control, be a leader and show that with goal setting, determination and will power I can get across that finish line feeling more like me.  NO EXCUSES!!! ( sounds good in theory but I  need to put it into practise).

 Each week I will let you know about the type of exercise and training I have done to achieve my pre baby body shape this will commence next week.

Better late than never

  Hello ladies,  It has been along time since I have updated my blog and my photos are due.

So you ask how am I looking now.... well probably about the same still struggling big time with juggling my family business and trying to find time for training and today I am hurting and feeling sooo tired. But you know I have given my self 26 weeks or 6 months in total to get back to being myself. I think that is reasonable.

Week 10. 2 more week til photo time

So next week I am due to take another photo and hoping to see some results. And I will I have been eating well just little exercise still and definitely struggling with getting enough sleep. Its not that my little girl is not sleeping she has actually started sleeping right through from  about 8 til 5. My problem is my work load and I find I am not getting to bed until about 11 and even 12 some nights. Well not tonight I am going to bed early. I have plans to train tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed
